Acala USD Stablecoin (aUSD)

Acala USD Stablecoin (aUSD) is a decentralized, multi-collateral stablecoin that is pegged to the US dollar and runs on the Acala Network blockchain. The Acala Network is a specialized blockchain platform that aims to provide a suite of financial services for the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem, such as decentralized exchange, liquid staking, and cross-chain asset transfer. Users can mint aUSD by over-collateralizing their assets, such as DOT, LDOT, ACA, or LCDOT, in a Collateralized Debt Position (CDP). aUSD can be used as a medium of exchange, a store of value, and a unit of account for various decentralized applications (DApps) on Polkadot and Kusama. aUSD is also interoperable with other blockchains through Polkadot's cross-chain communication protocol.
