Fill Or Kill Order (FOK)

A Fill Or Kill Order (FOK) is a type of order used in trading, particularly in the cryptocurrency market. It instructs the broker or exchange to either completely fill the order at the specified price or cancel it entirely if it cannot be immediately filled.

Example:

Let's say a trader wants to buy 10 Bitcoin at $50,000 each using a Fill Or Kill Order. If there are not enough sellers willing to sell 10 Bitcoin at $50,000 each, the entire order will be canceled rather than partially filled.

Case:

A trader places a Fill Or Kill Order to sell 100 Ethereum at $3,000 each. However, if there are not enough buyers willing to purchase all 100 Ethereum at that price, the order will be canceled, ensuring the trader does not end up with partially executed trades.
