Market Order
A market order is a type of order to buy or sell a cryptocurrency at the current market price. It is executed immediately at the prevailing market price, regardless of price fluctuations. Market orders prioritize speed of execution over price.
Example:
Let's say you want to buy 1 Bitcoin using a market order. If the current market price of Bitcoin is $50,000, your market order will be executed at or near that price, depending on market liquidity.
Case:
John wants to sell his Ethereum quickly because he needs cash. He places a market order to sell 10 Ethereum. The market order is executed almost instantly, and he receives the current market price for his Ethereum, which may be slightly higher or lower than the price he saw when he placed the order, depending on market conditions.
