Leading indicator

Leading indicators are often used in conjunction with other forms of analysis, such as fundamental analysis or sentiment analysis, to provide traders with a comprehensive view of market conditions and potential trading opportunities.

Examples of leading indicators in trading include:

  • Technical indicators such as moving averages

  • Bollinger Bands

  • Stochastic oscillators

  • Economic indicators such as the Consumer Price Index (CPI), Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and employment figures.

These indicators are used to identify trends, patterns, or other signals that may indicate future price movements in financial markets.
