Market entry

Market entry is often used when a trader wants to quickly enter a position in a fast-moving market, or when the trader wants to take advantage of a specific market condition. This entry could be without waiting for a particular price level to be reached.

For example, if a trader wants to buy a particular stock, they could place a market order to buy the stock at the current market price. The broker or exchange will execute the trade immediately, and the trader will be filled at the current market price. Similarly, if a trader wants to sell a particular stock, they could place a market order to sell the stock at the current market price, and the broker or exchange will execute the trade immediately.
